THE HANUMAN PROJECT
Part of the project, touring across Europe together.
@hanumanprojectOriginally from Riga, Latvia, Acharya has called Bali home since 2019, playing across the island, from the BaliSpirit Festival to The Yoga Barn, Alchemy Yoga Center and Alegria Festival in Bali Ubud.
Invoking an ecstatic and celestial presence on the dance floor, Acharya is a DJ dedicated to the cosmic groove and divine flow. The master of the eclectic, weaves a tapestry of ceremonial medicine and deep bass, infusing it with the raw essence of organic elements. His music blends ancient ritual with futuristic soundscapes, transporting listeners to a realm of movement and transcendence.
Rise is the ecstatic dance community Acharya co-founded in Ubud, Bali, and the dance floor where many of his live sets come to life.
@rise.dance.baliWe started Rise in 2024, and it has grown into a solid, warm-hearted community. Every week, 150 to 200 people from all over the world dance with us at Alchemy in Ubud and in Uluwatu, Bali, in a beautiful space we love to hold.
Each gathering blends facilitation and live music into one shared journey. And we keep growing and expanding, thanks to everyone who comes back week after week and the new friends who find us from every corner of the world.

@hanumanproject
One of the core members of the collective.
@vesper.collectiveAlongside these, Acharya has collaborated with many international artists.
Since arriving in Bali in 2019, Acharya has played festival stages and dance floors from Ubud to Thailand, both behind the decks and on stage with live bands. As part of The Hanuman Project, a core member of Vesper Collective and a regular guest alongside musicians and singers in ever-changing constellations, he moves freely between DJ sets, live ensembles and sound journeys.

Live set on SoundCloudEvery set is a guided journey, shaped for the room and the moment, moving between ceremony and celebration.
A full wave from a grounded, slow opening through rising rhythm and a deep, bass-driven peak, then a gentle landing into stillness.
For ecstatic dance events and community gatheringsBuilt for the slot and the stage: sunset journeys, daytime grooves or a late-night peak, always reading the floor.
For festival stages and dance templesWhen the music fades, Acharya plays the ngoni, the West African harp, live as a sound journey meditation, often joined by guest musicians and singers.
